Work Readiness Training

The CoSpire Work Readiness Training Program consists of three main components: job-readiness training, office and retail practice, and 100+ hours of internship. During the program, CoSpire Trainees learn about job search, maintaining employment, self-advocacy, exhibiting appropriate workplace behaviors, problem solving and social skills. Additionally, trainees receive instruction in using commonly used business software such as Microsoft Office and POS systems.

The pop-up retail practicum provides trainees with invaluable hands-on retail experience launching a pop-up business from start to finish. Trainees build their work experiences at the CoSpire businesses, including the pop-up coffee shop, two-day Thrift Shop Store, and other local retail establishments.
